I've always believed that English is more than a subject. It's a skill that helps you communicate, connect, grow, and open new opportunities.

Years of teaching and translating have shown me that people learn best when lessons feel clear, personal, and enjoyable, so that’s exactly how I build every one of mine.

My Journey

From one student to a growing community

  1. 2018

    Where it all began

    Started teaching English during my first year at university.

    What started as tutoring quickly became something I truly loved. I discovered that I could take something that seemed difficult and make it clear, simple, and enjoyable for the person learning it.

  2. Education

    Building the foundation

    BA in English Language and Literature from the Lebanese University.

    MA in Arts of Translation from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, along with a European Master's in Translation.

  3. Experience

    Beyond the classroom

    Worked in language departments within the United Nations and other international organizations and NGOs, with experience in editing, proofreading, translation, and professional language work.

  4. Today

    Learn with Karen

    What started with one student became a growing community of learners and the beginning of a brand built around making English easier, more enjoyable, and more useful.
